Northborough – Claire P. (Trautner) Chapdelaine, 87, died at Beaumont of Northborough after a long illness. She leaves her devoted husband of 65 years, Harvey F. Chapdelaine.
She is also survived by two sons, Wayne Chapdelaine of Washington, ME and Jeffrey Chapdelaine of Spencer; a daughter, Paula Darling of Grafton; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Clinton, daughter of Herbert and Margaret (Hahn) Trautner, she lived in Northborough since 1947. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1943. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and crafts.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, March 17, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough. Claire's funeral will be held at 4 p.m. at the conclusion of calling hours. Burial is private.
