Marlborough – The Civil Air Patrol will be holding an open house for local students, ages 12 to 18 who may be interested in joining as cadets, Sunday, April 14, at the Marlborough Airport, 685 Farm Road. The Lt. Colonel Frank Pocher Squadron will be hosting the event, which will be held 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The Civil Air Patrol is an auxiliary unit of the United States Air Force. The cadet program offers experience, organizers of the open house said, that contributes to success in college, employment and military careers. Cadets will learn to fly, lead, hike, camp, get in shape and strive for greater accomplishments.
