Marlborough – Laurel B. (VonSchoppe) Trolla, 65, died unexpectedly Friday morning, April 5, 2013.? She was born in Dorchester, the daughter of the late Bertram and Bertha (Legee) VonSchoppe, and lived in Marlborough since 1967.

Mrs. Trolla was currently working with her daughter Meredith as a daycare provider at their home in Marlborough, where she was truly loved by all of her kids.

She is survived by three sons, Christopher Trolla of Westborough, Karl Trolla and his fiancée Tamara of Uxbridge, and Matthew Trolla of Marlborough; one daughter, Meredith Lively and her husband Brian of Marlborough; her former husband, Joseph Trolla of Malden; one brother, Alan VonSchoppe and his wife Patty of S.C.; two sisters, Carol Robbins and her husband Frank of Burlington and Gail Bartolini and her husband Jack of Southborough; five grandchildren, Brianna, Kamron, Joseph, Tarynn, and Alanah; five nephews, Anthony, Michael and his wife Erin and Gregory Bartolini, Brian, and Eric VonSchoppe; two nieces, Heather and Wendy VonSchoppe; her sister-in-law, Florinda Sullivan and her husband Dennis and their children of Tewksbury; and her longtime best friend, Linda Smith.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, April 11, at 9:00 a.m., in the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visiting hours at the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home, 95 West Main St., Marlborough, will be held Wednesday, April 10, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
