Westborough – The Westborough High School Rangers girls” softball team played host to the North Middlesex Regional High School Patriots on April 13 at Westborough High School.
The Rangers traded runs with the Patriots to maintain a two run lead for the first five innings (Rangers led 6-4 after five) but in the sixth inning Westborough's Jen Pilkington started a three run rally with a solo home run over the center field fence. ?The Patriots answered with two runs in their part of the sixth, but the Rangers added an insurance run in their part of the sixth. ?The Rangers’ Briana Arnold pitched a complete game and got the win, 10-6.
