Moonstruck Theater Company announces auditions for Cabaret

cabaret_logoMarlborough – Auditions for Moonstruck Theater Company's 2013 summer musical, Cabaret, will be held Saturday, May 4, at 12:30 p.m., at the First Church of Marlborough.

Callbacks will be held May 8, from 7 to 10 p.m., with times announced to auditioners who are called back. Anyone wishing to be considered for Sally, the Emcee, the Kit Kat Girls, and Male Ensemble must attend the movement. All other characters do not need a dance audition and can arrive at 2:30 p.m. All roles are available for actors, dancers, and singers ages 14 and up.

Auditioners should prepare 16 bars of one of the following songs from the show: men: “Money” or “Tomorrow Belongs to Me”; and women: “Cabaret” (last verse) or “Tomorrow Belongs to Me.” Following vocal auditions, there will be reading from the script.

Rehearsal dates for the production are May 14 through July 18, and performance dates are July 19 – 21. Marlborough resident Caroline Fonseca will produce and choreograph.
