Our pollinator species are very much at risk. We can help out by planting the kinds of plants pollinators enjoy. Learn how to create a welcoming haven for bees, birds, butterflies, and other wildlife, and about native plants and examples of organic and architectural features for the garden. Those who attend will receive a pollinator plant list.
Along with this topic, Smith will present a preview to a documentary video she is producing called BomBom Butterfly on the life cycle of the black swallowtail butterfly.
The program is free and open to the public. For more information about Kim Smith and The Pollinator Garden, visit www.kimsmithdesigns.wordpress.com. Southborough Library is located at 25 Main St.
