Obit-Flag_USE-THIS-ONE4Shrewsbury – Charles T. Rozak, 88, of Shrewsbury, formerly of South Attleboro, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, surrounded by his loving family in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence in Worcester.

He was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, son of the late Charles W. and Bertha (Blazjawska) Rozak. He graduated from Central Falls High School and the University of Rhode Island. He served his country proudly with the United States Army Air Corps during W.W. II. He later retired from the Rhode Island Air National Guard after 25 years of service as a Lieutenant Colonel.

Charles had worked for more than 20 years as an accountant for the United States Government.

He leaves his beloved wife of 62 years, Annette T. (Corriveau) Rozak; sons, Charles T. Rozak and his wife, Bernadette of Florence, S.C., Dr. Steven R. Rozak and his wife, Deborah of Shrewsbury, and a daughter, Kimberly A. Rozak and her husband, Eric P. Kohler of Boylston; six grandchildren, Benjamin, Gregory, Jeffrey and Michael Rozak and Alyssa and Ethan Kohler; and several nieces and nephews.

Charles's family wishes to thank all the nurses and doctors at UMMHC, VNA Care Hospice and the Staff at the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence for all their support and compassionate care given to Charles.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, June 14, from 4 to 8 p.m., in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main St., Shrewsbury. Services will be from the funeral home Saturday, June 15, with a Mass celebrating his life at 10 a.m. in Saint Mary's Church, 640 Main St., Shrewsbury. Burial with military honors will be in Mountain View Cemetery of Shrewsbury.
