Corridor Nine Chamber holds annual golf tournament

    Region – It was a picture perfect day for the Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce's annual Golf Tournament at Juniper Hill Golf Course in Northborough June 20. This tournament raises funds to support scholarships for graduating high school seniors from Westborough, Northborough, Southborough and Shrewsbury. Not only did 126 participants enjoy a great day of golf, but the event also included hole-in-one contests, breakfast, lunch provided out on the course, delicious hors d’oeuvres after the tournament, and opportunities to win raffle prizes.

    Fallon Community Health Plan was the title sponsor of the tournament for the fifth consecutive year and representatives from Small Business Insurance Agency were the first place winners of the tournament.

    Tournament sponsors were: cart sponsor: Digital Federal Credit Union; supporting sponsors: EMC Corporation, Fidelity Bank, Health Plans, Inc., Small Business Insurance Agency, Inc., St. Mary's Credit Union, TD Bank, and The TJX Companies, Inc.; partnership sponsors: Boston Private Bank & Trust Company, Central One Federal Credit Union, Mirick O’Connell, and United Bank; breakfast sponsor: Marlborough Savings Bank; lunch sponsor: The Willows at Westborough; beverage sponsor: State Rep. George Peterson, (R-Grafton); ?19th hole sponsors: Avidia Bank; “spirit” sponsor: UniBank; hole-in-one contest sponsors: Glick Nissan, Marlborough and Westborough Courtyard by Marriott, Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital, Middlesex Savings Bank; grand raffle prize sponsors: Carruth Capital, LLC, the YMCA of Central Massachusetts, Westborough and Marlborough Courtyard by Marriott, Jet Blue, and Marlborough Savings Bank. Live auction items were donated by Mark's Moving and Storage, Live Nation, TD Bank, and Arturo's Ristorante.
