Obit Stephen MorrisNorthborough – Stephen G. “Moose” Morris, 55, of Northborough, died Saturday, June 29, 2013 at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, following a lengthy illness.

The husband of Susan (Neville) Morris of Northborough, he was born in Cambridge, the son of Dolores (Fogerty) Morris Tavano of Marlborough and the late James J. Morris, Jr. He was also the stepson of the late Nicholas Tavano.

Mr. Morris had been employed by the Hewlitt Packard Corp., as well as various computer and technology companies as a technical manager.

He was a member of the Bolton Street Association, and an avid sports fan. He enjoyed his family and his many, many friends, who knew him and loved him for his caring manner, his love for his country and the enjoyment he found in life and shared with all.

Besides his wife and his mother, he is survived by his brothers, Dr. Peter Morris and his wife Amber of Marlborough and Robert Morris and his wife Kim of Shrewsbury; his sisters, Susan St. Pierre and her husband Charlie of Orange and Diane McCurley and her husband Timmy of Marlborough; and his many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, July 2, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough. A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, July 3, at 11 a.m., at the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery on Wilson Street in Marlborough.
