Obit Frances B. Oliveri,Shrewsbury – Frances B. (Betti) Oliveri, 84, of Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully in her home Thursday, July 4, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Frances was predeceased by her loving husband, Antonio J. Oliveri, with whom she shared nearly 59 years of marriage.

She is survived by their children, son, Nicholas J. Olivieri and his wife Deborah of Tampa, Florida and their children, Matthew and Michael Olivieri & Nicoletta Barringhaus and her husband Kurt; daughter, Margery A. Oliveri of Shrewsbury with whom she lived, and her children, Anthony and Cristina Healy; and a son, Anthony J. Olivieri and his wife Michelle of Worcester and their children, Elizabeth, Sara and Jennifer; a great granddaughter, Sophia Holmes; a sister, Theresa Scola and her husband Dr. Daniel Scola of Glastonbury, CT; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters, Alfred, Attilio and Serafino Betti, Anna Giarusso and Catherine Monopoli.

Frances was born in Shrewsbury, daughter of the late Nicola and Brigida M. (Grilli) Betti. She graduated from Shrewsbury High School in 1946 and had lived here all her life. She soon met the love of her life, Antonio, and together raised their family, keeping them drenched in love and rich traditions that they shared.

Frances worked as Treasurer for Surveys and Analysis, Inc., before she retired in the mid-1990s to enjoy her family whom she loved so much. She shared a loving bond with her husband, Antonio, their children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter; and will forever remain in the hearts of family and friends. She will be remembered as a woman who lived her life with great love, kindness and compassion.

She was a member of Saint Anne's Church and shared a great faith throughout her life.

Calling hours for Frances will be held Tuesday, July 9, from 4 to 7 p.m., in Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, July 10, from the funeral home, with a procession to Saint Anne's Church, 120 Boston Turnpike Rd. (Route 9), Shrewsbury, where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery of Shrewsbury.
