Hudson – R. Jane (Ferrick) Crossman, 74, of Hudson, died Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital in Westborough. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John A. Crossman of Hudson.

Jane was born and raised in Waltham, daughter of the late Thomas and Amelia (Ricci) Ferrick. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Waltham High School, class of 1956. She later received her Nursing Degree and began a long career as an LPN at Marlborough Hospital, where she spent 32 years until her retirement in 2011.

She was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson where she was also a member of the Choir and Catholic Daughter's Association.

Jane enjoyed reading and listening to classical music in her spare time. She loved traveling, especially when family and friends could come along. She truly cherished the time she shared with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her three children, Julie Varteresian and her husband Stephan of Gardner, Stephen Crossman and his wife Janet of Framingham, and Christopher Crossman and his wife Kristin of Cumming, Ga. She is also survived by her two sisters-in-law, Sally Guidotti and her husband Hugo of Hudson and Mary Denine of Spanish Fort, Al., and her seven loving grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 23, at 10:30 a.m., in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery. Family and friends may attend calling hours Monday, July 22, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jane may be made to Saint Michael's Parish, 20 High St., Hudson, MA 01749.
