Northborough – Katherine Mariah Pieper, a senior majoring in psychology and environmental studies at the University of Rochester, has been elected to Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's oldest academic honorary society. Pieper, the daughter of Marty Reuman Pieper and Karl Pieper, is a resident of Northborough and a graduate of Algonquin Regional High School.
