072613 cartoon rsWestborough – After several years of sometimes contentious debate, Westborough's voters approved $7.3 million at the March Annual Town Meeting to renovate the Town Hall. As that project is slated to start in September officials are now trying to determine the best course of action to relocate not only the different town offices that call the building home, but also nearly 300 years of archival records.

The improvements to the Town Hall, built in 1928, will include renovating the second and third floors to make them handicapped accessible. Other renovations include restoring the clock tower, installing an elevator, replacing the windows and heating components and removing mold and asbestos.
