Hudson – Anne C. (Hubert) Scott, 84, of Templeton, former longtime resident of Hudson, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of 58 years to the late Wallace J. Scott Jr., who died in 2010.
Anne was born in Marlborough, daughter of the late Clement and Mary (Hart) Hubert. She was raised in Hudson, where she attended local schools and was a graduate of Hudson High School.
She was a longtime employee of Digital Equipment Corp. in Marlborough.
Anne was a proud member of the V.F. W. Post 1027 Auxiliary in Hudson and member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She most recently moved to Templeton to be close to her family, and they will truly miss her.
She is survived by her children, Wallace J. “James” Scott III of Phillipston and Sherryl Bain, Susan Webster, and Carolyn MacCulloch, all of Templeton. She is also survived by her two sisters, Mildred Kerr of Maine and Margery Lefebvre of Shrewsbury; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Shirley Isaacs and Marie Wells.
Family and friends may attend a calling hour Saturday, Sept. 14, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, followed by a service and celebration of Anne's life at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial services will follow in Forestvale Cemetery of Hudson.
