Obit Paul NallyShrewsbury – Dr. Paul V. Nally, 82, a longtime resident of Shrewsbury, died peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013 after an illness.

Paul leaves his beloved wife and best friend of 44 years, Ann Marie (Bianculli) Nally; a nephew, Mark Nally and his wife Ellen of Boylston; and many nieces and nephews of the Bianculli families. He was predeceased by a brother, Walter F. Nally Jr.

Dr. Nally was born in Worcester, son of the late Walter F. and Mary (O”Brien) Nally, and lived in Worcester before moving to Shrewsbury 38 years ago.

He was a graduate of North High School and Holy Cross College, class of 1953. He then went on to receive his medical degree from Creighton University, where he graduated from in 1965. He did his internship at St. Vincent Hospital, and did his residency in dermatology at Tufts New England Medical Center, Boston.

Dr. Nally established his dermatology practice in Worcester many years ago, and was on the staff of St. Vincent and UMass Medical Center. He was a member of the Massachusetts Dermatology Association, the New England Dermatology Society, the Worcester District Medical Society, the Massachusetts Medical society, and the American Medical Association.

Prior to going to medical school, he was a social worker in Worcester for many years. He served as a 1st Lieutenant in the National Guard for 10 years.

A funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday Sept. 28, at 11:30 a.m., in the Church of St. Anne, 130 Boston Tpke., Shrewsbury. Relatives and friends are kindly asked to go directly to the church. There are no calling hours. Interment will be at a later date in St. John's Cemetery.
