Shrewsbury – Georgette H. Rudden, 92, passed away at home Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at “Southgate at Shrewsbury.” Her husband of 64 years, Francis “Frank” Rudden, passed away last February.
She is survived by three children, Eileen Rudden of Cambridge, Dr. Marie Rudden of West Stockbridge, and Kevin Rudden of Mendon; one sister-in-law; eight grandchildren; one niece; and two sons-in-law.
Mrs. Rudden was a retired registered nurse, educated at Brooklyn College and the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps at the Kings County Hospital School of Nursing, where she was president of the Student Association.
Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Mrs. Rudden grew up in Brooklyn, New York, raised her children in New Jersey, and moved to Shrewsbury in the late-1990s to be closer to her grown children and grandchildren.
Funeral services are private.
