Louise M. Bergeron, 92

34

Westborough – Louise M. (Halley) Bergeron, 92, of Westborough and formerly of Southborough and Hopkinton, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 61 years, Normand Bergeron, died in 2010.

She leaves her seven children and their spouses, Mary Anderson and her husband Jeff of Southborough, Jean Withee and her husband Brian of Westborough, Rita Bancroft and her husband Cliff of Templeton, Yvonne Wright and her husband Phil of Southborough, Linda Gassett and her husband Brian of Hopkinton, Richard Bergeron of Milford, and Normand Bergeron and his wife Danielle of Hopkinton. She has also left behind many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her eight siblings.

She was born and raised in Framingham, daughter of William P. and Mary A. (Gormley) Halley, and was a graduate of Framingham High School. She lived for many years in Hopkinton, and had recently lived in Southborough and, most recently, in Westborough.

Louise was a fervent Catholic who treasured family life above all else. Although she wintered for many years in Florida with her husband, Normand, she was always delighted in returning home to Massachusetts to be near her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She retained her fiery Irish temperament and a deep abiding love for all family. She will be sorely missed.

Louise's funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 10 a.m., in Saint Matthew Church, Highland Street, Southborough. Burial will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Hopkinton. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Oct. 15, from 4 – 7 p.m., in Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Southborough.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Matthew Church, 105 Southville Rd., Southborough.
