Obit-Flag_USE-THIS-ONE4Hudson – Timothy F. Lilley Sr., 82, of Hudson, former longtime resident of Natick, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2013 at UMass Memorial Healthcare, University Campus in Worcester. He was the beloved husband of 60 years to the late Virginia J. (Halloran) Lilley, who died in 2011.

Timothy was born and raised in Westborough, son of the late James and Madeline (DesPres) Lilley. He attended local schools and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1948 at age 17. He resided in Natick from 1969 to 2004.

He worked as a self-employed handy man for many years and eventually took a position with the Needham Public Library until retiring in 2002. He has resided in Hudson since 2004.

Timothy enjoyed traveling and was an avid reader in his spare time. Most of all, he cherished the times he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a devoted husband and father, loving grandfather and they will surely miss his helpful nature and talents as a handyman.

Connors and her husband Kerry of Haverhill.
