Westborough – Eva Maria Martin, 90, of Westborough, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013 at the UMass/Memorial Healthcare-University Hospital in Worcester. She was the wife of Armand J. Martin.
Born in Berlin, Germany, she was the daughter of the late George and Margerita (Heiser) Trapp and was educated in Germany.
Eva was employed as a registered nurse in Germany working in a hospital.
She was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church and had been a resident of Westborough since 1993, previously living in Milford, N.H.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Inga Spears of Battavia, Ohio; one step-daughter, Judy Wheaton of Watertown; a daughter-in-law, Sabina Loechel of Berlin, Germany; two grandchildren, Patrick Loechel and Philip Loechel; and three step-grandchildren, Kimberly Halloran, Page Wheaton and Chad Wheaton. She was the mother of the late Stephen Loechel, step-mother of the late Joanne Martin, and sister of the late Martin Trapp.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Nov. 25, at 10:30 a.m., in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Luke's Cemetery. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 9 – 10 a.m. at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough.
