Westborough – Nomination papers are now available for the Westborough Town Election to be held Tuesday, March 4. Papers can be obtained through Friday, Jan. 10, at 5 p.m. from the Town Clerk, Westborough Town Hall, 45 W. Main St., room 25. The Town Clerk's office hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Tuesday 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.; and Friday 7:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Prior to obtaining blank nomination papers from the Town Clerk, a candidate will file a statement with the Town Clerk. This statement will contain his/her name and address and the town office for which he/she intends to be a candidate. No candidate for a town office shall receive more blank nomination papers than will contain the number of signatures required to place his/her name in nomination, multiplied by five.
There are currently 12 positions up for election in Westborough. The following is a list of open positions and incumbents:

The last day to object to a nomination or withdraw is Thursday, Jan. 30, until 5 p.m.? Residents may register to vote until Wednesday, Feb. 12, for the Town Election and Town Meeting.
On Tuesday, March 4, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., the Town Election will be held in the following polling places: Gibbons Middle School gym, 20 Fisher St. (Precincts 1 and 3); Hastings Elementary School gym, 111 E. Main St. (Precinct 2); and Mill Pond School, 6 Old Hickory Path (Precincts 4 and 5).
Town Meeting will be held Saturday, March 15, from 1 to 10:30 p.m. at the Westborough High School auditorium, 90 W. Main St., to be continued as necessary.
