Hudson large web iconHudson – The first five chapters of the Town of Hudson's draft Master Plan will be available to the public by the second week of January, according to a press release issued by town officials.

This is the town's first town-wide master planning process in nearly 50 years. The Master Plan is a comprehensive long-range plan intended to guide the growth and development of the community. By allowing the community to identify and prioritize what is important, the plan will describe the town's vision for the future, as well as how those goals may be accomplished.

The initial public outreach process is now complete, having held public forums on specific topics.

The town is now beginning to introduce individual draft chapters. The first two chapters are available now on the town's website www.townofhudson.org. Click on the Boards and Commission page, then on “Master Plan Steering Committee.” Three more chapters will be released by the second week in January.

General comments on the overall chapter are welcome, as are more specific comments on content. All public comments on the first five chapters should be submitted by Feb. 14, 2014.

Comments may be submitted to Master Plan, Town Hall, 78 Main St, Hudson, MA? 01749 or by email to [email protected].

There will be an upcoming public forum surrounding the release of the entire draft document in the late spring, as well as the release of the finalized plan at a public meeting of the Planning Board in the summer.
