Westborough – Sally Ward displays a hand-blown, early 1900s Victorian cranberry glass pitcher she brought to “An Evening of Antiques and Collectibles Appraisal,” presented Jan. 27 by the Westborough Historical Society at the Westborough Public Library. Guest speak Ron D’Auteuil of Olde Thyme Stuffe in Worcester appraised its worth in the $30 to $50 range. She purchased it at a charitable antique show for about $40.
Next, the society will present a curator of Olde Sturbridge Village with “A Look at Itinerant Merchants in Early 19th Century New England” Monday, Feb. 24, at 6:30 p.m., at Tatnuck Bookseller, Gift Gallery and Café. Snow date is Monday, March 3.
