Shrewsbury – St. Mary School in Shrewsbury hosted its annual January Open House and Registration Event Jan. 26. This event marks the start of Catholic Schools Week throughout the United States.? This year's theme, “Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service,” exemplifies the very essence of what Catholic schools provide for their students, families, and communities.

The weeklong celebration began with a Mass followed by the Pasta Festival to recognize the St. Mary Parish and School community. The open house was an opportunity for prospective students and their families to tour the classrooms and meet students, faculty and alumni.

The week continued with daily events to recognize and thank many of the individuals who serve St. Mary's by providing their time and talent. The week's events culminated with the Gatsby Gala, an evening of dinner, dancing, games, and a silent auction at Highfields in Grafton.
