Marlborough – Local kids were invited to experience the magic of reading at the Solomon Pond Mall Feb. 17 as part of the Simon Malls? Simon Kidgits Club?? free annual “Book Blast.”
Special guests, including Marlborough Mayor Arthur Vigeant, took some time to read to the children in attendance. Children were also invited to bring a new or gently used book to the event to be donated to “Big Hearted Books,” which donates books back to local families in need.
Kids also had the chance to make their own pizza courtesy of restaurant Pizzeria Regina. And “Finz,” the Worcester Sharks mascot, also made a special guest appearance.
