Shrewsbury – On March 2 Shrewsbury Health & Racquet Club (SHARC) inspired others as they hosted “Pedal to End Cancer,” raising over $2,500 for the American Cancer Society. Family, friends, and the community came together within the SHARC facility for the 3-hour indoor cycling fundraiser to support the services of the American Heart Association.? Every dollar raised goes toward eliminating cancer as a major health concern.

The fundraiser had over 70 clubs signed up to participate this year, with 711 participants, and has already raised over $122,000 for the fight against cancer. Donations for the American Cancer Society's Pedal to End Cancer will be accepted until April 1.
