    To the Editor:

Opinion-icon-for-website[1]Shrewsbury has a very important election Tuesday, May 6. Three candidates seek election to the Board of Selectmen; all three are either present or former selectmen.

I have served with all three. Two have routinely worked very hard preparing for and attending ?every meeting ready to find realistic, practical, caring approaches to deliver very high levels? of municipal services? with average residential tax bills that compare very? favorably to nearby and similar communities.

I urge all voters to re-elect Maurice DePalo and Henry Fitzgerald on May 6 so they may both continue the excellent service they routinely provide the town.
