Lakeland, Fla. – Eva May (LaFleur) Allan, 75, died Tuesday, July 1, 2014, of complications from diabetes in Lakeland, Fla.

She was born in Auburn, Maine to Jean Paul and Marie (Michaud) LaFleur. She grew up in Hudson and graduated from St. Michael's Academy in 1957. She received her RN from St.Vincent's Hospital and her BS from Columbia College. She resided in Washington and Arizona before settling in Florida in 1988.

Eva was employed as a nurse for over 40 years. She was also an avid knitter and gardener, and loved to travel, which she did extensively throughout her life.

She is survived by her two brothers, Edward LaFleur of Lakeland, Fla. and Paul LaFleur and his wife Suzanne of Punta Gorda, Fla.; her nieces and nephew, Laura (LaFleur) Johnson and her husband Steven of Sayville, N.Y., Beth (LaFleur) Warner and her husband Dan of Stow, Marc LaFleur and his wife Heather, of Bourne, and Lauren (LaFleur) Vincent of Natick; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.

The family will have a private burial.
