Region – Central One Federal Credit Union awarded three students with academic scholarships for the upcoming school year. Many students from Shrewsbury High School, Westborough High School, and Algonquin Regional High School submitted their applications for the Central One Scholarship.
The following students were awarded the scholarship based upon academic merit, school activities, community involvement, and need. Catherine Coad of Algonquin was the winner of the $4,000 scholarship, which will provide her with $1,000 per year enrolled in college. Domitille Buricatu of Shrewsbury High School and Shannon Connors of Westborough High School received a prize of $1,000.
