Region – This week, while communities mark the anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, rather than commemorating the events themselves, they focus on those who died that day, some as innocent victims and some as heroes.
Remembering those who died honors the current sacrifice and dedication of U.S. military personnel and local police officers and firefighters.
