Westborough High School to host “Week of Lights”

    Westborough – It has become a tradition at Westborough High School (WHS) that every two years the school hosts a “Week of Lights” events. Starting Tuesday, Sept. 16 through Friday, Sept. 19, the school's different sports teams will be playing under temporary lights on the WHS turf.

    The community is encouraged to come out and cheer the Rangers on. In addition, fans are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to the games and meets. Items will then be donated to the Westborough Food Pantry, which is in great need of many items, especially personal care items, such as soap, deodorant, and other toiletries.

    Schedule of events:

    Tuesday, Sept. 16:

    3:30 p.m.- Cross Country vs. Nashoba

    5:15 p.m.- Girls JV Soccer vs. North Middlesex

    7 p.m. – Girls Varsity Soccer vs. No.Middlesex

    Wednesday, Sept. 17:

    5:30 p.m.- JV Field Hockey vs. Quabbin

    7 p.m. – Varsity Field Hockey vs. Quabbin

    Thursday, Sept. 18:

    5:15 p.m.- JV Boys Soccer vs. Groton Dunstable

    7 p.m. – Varsity Boys Soccer vs. Groton Dunstable

    Friday, Sept. 19:

    4 p.m. Fr & JV Volleyball vs. Shrewsbury

    5:15 p.m. – Varsity Volleyball vs. Shrewsbury

    7 p.m. – Varsity Football vs. No Middlesex
