    School: Shrewsbury High School

    Sport: Football

    Coach: John Aloisi

Notables: Voted Team Captain for the 2014 season

What are your earliest football memories?

“I started playing football in seventh grade. I remember trying to get down to the weight limit so I can play with other seventh graders, but I was not able to. I played with the eighth graders and got beat up pretty bad.”

Which coach or parent has encouraged you to succeed in football?

“My father and Coach Tom Powers have definitely had the biggest influences on me.”

How did it feel to be voted a captain for this season?

“I felt honored, but at the same time, I realize it’s going to be a lot of responsibility. I need to be a good example for my teammates, and lead them to the best of my abilities.”

What would you consider to be the best part of your game?

“I like to think that I am a pretty well-rounded football player, as I can adapt to different situations.”

Which single game has been the most memorable during your career at SHS?

“My most memorable game is soon to come.”

What is your favorite class at SHS?

“We have the best teachers at SHS, but if I had to pick my favorite class, it’d be history with Coach Aloisi.”

What is your favorite type of music?

“My favorite type of music is country.”

What are your hobbies outside of football?

“I also play baseball, and enjoy hanging out with friends and family at Cape Cod and Lake Winnipesaukee.”

Have you decided on a college yet, and would you like to play football at that level?

“I haven’t decided on a college yet, but I am very interested in Denison University, Catholic University and Gettysburg College. I am hoping to play either baseball or football.”

What legacy do you hope to leave at SHS?

“I hope to be remembered as a person who can be depended on as a friend, and as a teammate. Someone who can be counted on to give a consistent effort in both the classroom and on the field.”
