Shrewsbury – St. Mary’s Parish held their annual Family Festival Sept. 12-14. The events kicked off Friday evening with dinner at Gerardo’s followed by plenty of family entertainment. Kids enjoyed a variety of inflatable attractions and games; adults were invited to participate in a variety of “Over 21” games.

Saturday morning featured the 5K Road Race/Fitness Walk benefitting the parish. Participants received t-shirts and winners received awards for their performance in their respective age divisions. Events similar to Friday night’s were on display again throughout the day Saturday, with the inclusion of a magic show, silent auction and basket raffles.

State Rep. Matthew Beaton (R-Shrewsbury) kicked off the final day of activities Sunday, which included the drawing of the Grand Raffle with a first prize of $15,000 and second prize of a family trip to Disney World.
