A vote for Rep. Dykema

76

To the Editor:

Carolyn Dykema is running for re-election as the State Rep. in the 8th Middlesex District. Over the last few months I have received a number of notifications from a political action committee (PAC) filled with lies, accusations and insinuations about Rep. Dykema’s positions. This is a glaring example of how low some people will stoop to win elections. Mass. Fiscal Alliance claims to be non-partisan, but sends mailings out filled with lies and misrepresentations about one of the finest representatives on Beacon Hill today.
I am proud to have Ms. Dykema as my state rep. She and her staff understand that she serves the people of the district. She listens to concerns, formulates plans of action, works hard to pass legislation that benefits not only her district but the state as well. She will be the first person to answer questions direct and to the point. That is rather refreshing in today’s climate.
Carolyn is not the type that shows up for a photo-op and leaves. She really wants to talk to the voters and hear what they have to say. She is happy to explain, in clear terms, her reasons for supporting or opposing issues. If there is a civic event in her district, she’s there. These cowardly, faceless mailings would have you believe otherwise.

You have a lot of choices to make Election Day. The easiest one is to vote for Carolyn Dykema and re-elect someone that understands who she is working for and will give you her best effort.
