Hudson – The Hudson Youth Substance Abuse Prevention initiative will present “Community Conversations: Raising Healthy Teens,” Tuesday, Oct. 28, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Hudson High School, 69 Brigham St.
A panel discussion will be hosted by State Rep. Kate Hogan, D-Stow and facilitated by Dr. Jodi Fortuna, superintendent of Hudson Public Schools. The purpose of this event is to help community members understand challenges facing our youth today and discuss the role family, schools, and the community play in raising healthy teens. Topics covered will include the developing teen brain, teen stress, negative peer pressure, mental health promotion and substance use prevention. Panelists will discuss these topics and provide parents and community members with tools and resources to support healthy teen development.
