Hudson – Thousands of residents and visitors flocked to Morgan Bowl for the 17th annual Pumpkin Fest, presented Oct. 25 by the Hudson Recreation Department. Five hours of family fun featured lots of refreshments and games offered by 30 nonprofit organizations, live entertainment, sculpted balloons by clowns, pony rides, inflatable amusements, trackless train rides and fireworks.
Returning for the sixth year, “The Machine” Jesse Green carved a wood sculpture of a fox. His sculptures from previous years are displayed on the Assabet River Rail Trail.
Event sponsors were Avidia Bank, Hudson Fire Local #1713, Hudson Police Association and Juniper Farms. A portion of the admission fee goes to the Hudson Community Food Pantry.
