Westborough – Marcia M. Keiley, 82, of Westborough, formerly of Gloucester and Framingham, passed away peacefully Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 at the Kindred Transitional Care in Westborough. She was the wife of William M. Keiley Jr.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Mary (Flynn) McPherson. She was educated at St. Thomas Aquinas Parochial School in Jamaica Plain, and was a graduate of Regis College.

Marcia taught in the Boston Public School system, mostly at the Mary Curley School in Jamaica Plain, retiring in 1997.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of Good Voyage Church in Gloucester and locally at St. Luke the Evangelist Church. She was a member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and of the Massachusetts Teachers Association.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her five children, William M. “Matt” Keiley III and his wife Barbara of Hana Maui, Hawaii, Christopher J. Keiley and his wife Kathleen of Gloucester, Warren J. Keiley and his wife Lyn of Haiku Maui, Hawaii, Amy Keiley Schur and her husband Daniel of Westborough, and Johanna Keiley Cooperman and her husband Steven of Southborough; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Nov. 15, at 9:30 a.m., in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery of West Roxbury. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
