Northborough – A public meeting on a proposed new gas line that would cut through part of Northborough has been postponed so that residents and officials may review more current maps. Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company is proposing a line that would run from Bolton to Worcester and as such, along the Northborough border.
The original public meeting was scheduled for Nov. 19 but because the new maps were not made available until Nov. 5, the company agreed to reschedule. The new date was based on a request from Congressmen James McGovern and Niki Tsongas so that the interested parties may thoroughly study the new maps.
The new date for the public meeting has not yet been announced.
