Westborough – Local veterans were treated to a special luncheon at the town’s Senior Center Nov. 11 courtesy of a donation from the Westborough Central One Federal Credit Union branch.
“Though we have sponsored community dinners in the past, this is the second year we’ve donated funds to cover the cost for each veteran’s meal,” David Kaiser, the bank’s Westborough branch manager said. “It’s a way for us to say ‘thank you’ for their service.”
