Ashby – Alice I. (Carney) Collyer, 67, died Friday night, Nov. 21, 2014, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Daniel Collyer.

She was born in Marlborough, the son of the late William and Eileen (Tremblay) Carney, and lived in Marlborough for many years before moving to Ashby.

Mrs. Collyer worked for many years as a caretaker in the mental health field in many different facilities in this area.

She is survived by four daughters, Lisa Delouchrey and her husband Daniel of Westford, Colleen Florio and her husband Scot of Boylston, Danielle Collyer and her fiancée Ryan Jones of Gardner, and Samantha Collyer and her fiancée Justin Marini of Ashby; two sons, Brian Collyer of Dudley and Paul Connors and his wife Laura of Marlborough; two sisters, Patricia Clark and Mary Carney of Marlborough; and eight grandchildren, Timothy, Christopher, Shannon, Jake, Kevin, Dylan, Skylar, and Brody. She was predeceased by a sister, Rose Collins.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, Nov. 30, from 3-7 p.m., at the 873 Café in Ashby. The family requests that all family and friends attending please dress casually.
