Hudson – On a drizzly Dec. 6, residents with umbrellas in hand attended the 12th annual Hudson Downtown Holiday Stroll. Children shared their gift requests with Santa Claus by the fireplace at the Hudson Senior Center. All ages got a unique perspective of downtown while riding a horse-drawn hayride.
Guests enjoyed open houses at merchants with refreshments and activities such as decorating cookies and cupcakes, creating tree ornaments and balloon sculptures. Additional activities were offered by businesses and nonprofit organizations at the Town Hall, where members of the River’s Edge Chorale, Youth Chorus and Community Band entertained.
The five-hour event is presented by the Hudson Business Association with support from several sponsors.
