Region – The American Red Cross is holding blood donation opportunities in the region during the holiday season. The gift of a blood donation only takes about an hour and can give patients a chance to celebrate more holidays to come. To encourage donations and show appreciation, all those who attempt to donate blood Dec. 24 through Jan. 4, 2015, will receive a long-sleeve Red Cross t-shirt while supplies last.
Local blood donations sites include:
Hudson: Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2 to 7 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 91 Park St.
Marlborough: Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 31, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Marlborough Masonic Hall, 8 Newton St.
Shrewsbury: Thursday, Dec. 18, 2 to 8 p.m. at the Shrewsbury Senior Center, 98 Maple Ave.
Westborough: Friday, Dec. 26, 12 to 6 p.m. at the Westborough Senior Center, 4 Rogers Road.
