Northborough – Betty A. Gray, a longtime Northborough resident, died Monday, Dec. 8, 2014 at Beaumont Nursing Home. She was the widow of Robert C. Gray of Gray’s Carpet Center.
She leaves five children, Sally Stone (Richard), Judith Tibert (Kenneth), Susan Stokes (Carl), Richard Gray, and Gerald Gray (Patricia Harrington); 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A graduate of Northborough High School and Framingham Normal School, now Framingham State University, Mrs. Gray spent many years as an active community volunteer with a particular interest in education, serving on the school and building committees of Northborough.
Mrs. Gray will be greatly missed as a much loved mother, grandmother, and friend.
Funeral services are private. The family wishes to acknowledge all those who will miss Betty and thank them for their thoughts and prayers.
