Sudbury – E. Keith Roberts, 85, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014 after being stricken ill recently.
He was born in Philadelphia, Penn., the son of the late Evelyn Roberts, and lived in Marlborough for many years before moving to Milford, N.H., and then back to this area recently.
Mr. Roberts was a graduate of Columbia University and a United States Army veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He then went on to a career as a systems analyst for the former New England Power Company for many years.
He is survived by three daughters, Karen Johnson of Worcester, Diane Phaneuf of Marlborough, and Joyce Charron of Johnstown, Ohio; five grandchildren, Crystal, Jason, Steven, Jessica, and Andrew; and two great-grandchildren, Owen and Emily. He was predeceased by a son, Keith Roberts, who died in 2007.
Visiting hours will be held Monday, Dec. 15, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home (www.shortfuneral.com), 95 West Main St., Marlborough. Funeral services will be private.
