Living Nativity at Northborough church

Northborough – The Living Nativity, a live reenactment of the birth of Jesus, is presented each year on the Saturday before Christmas on the front lawn of the Church of the Nativity, 45 Howard St. This year’s event will take place Saturday, Dec. 20, at 6:30 p.m. Featured in the presentation is the reading of the Nativity story, and the three wise men’s arrival on horseback. The Nativity Youth Singers and other musicians will perform, and familiar Christmas carols will be sung. Live animals are part of the production and are available for petting before and after the presentation. Guests are invited to bring non-perishable food for the Northborough Food Pantry to be put in the Nativity scene manger at the conclusion of the 45-minute presentation. A reception with entertainment and refreshments will follow in the church hall. The event is free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to dress warmly for the outdoor event.
