Obit Elizabeth MulcahyShrewsbury – Elizabeth C. “Liz” (Noble) Mulcahy, 93, of Shrewsbury, passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014 at the Jewish Healthcare Center in Worcester. Liz’s husband, James J. Mulcahy II, died in 1975.

Liz had seven children. She is survived by James J. Mulcahy III and his wife Kathleen of Shrewsbury, Kathleen Belcafine and her husband Richard of Ocala, Fla., Michael and his wife Ann of Gresham, Ore., Patrick of Satellite Beach, Fla., and John and his wife Sally of Clinton, and is also survived by 25 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Kevin and Dennis Mulcahy, and six siblings, Edith, Lillian, Irene, Frank, May, and Marion.

She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Frank E. and Mary E. (Bradshaw) Noble. Liz graduated from Worcester Girls Trade School as a seamstress.

She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and her weekly card playing with her sisters.

Her funeral Mass was celebrated Monday, Dec. 22 in Saint Anne’s Church of Shrewsbury, followed by burial in Saint John’s Cemetery, of Worcester.
