Hudson/Northborough – The Hudson and Northborough police departments were each recently honored with a Gold Award of Excellence recognizing their superior efforts in traffic safety at the 2014 AAA Southern New England Traffic Safety Awards Luncheon at the Beechwood Hotel in Worcester. In Northborough, the Police Department’s efforts have enabled their community to achieve 12 consecutive years without an on-road pedestrian fatality. Hudson Patrolman John Donovan and Northborough Patrolman Phil Martin were also honored as AAA Traffic Safety Heroes.
