Shrewsbury – Bates student Kelan McCann of Shrewsbury spent the fall 2014 semester studying abroad in Italy as a participant in the Syracuse University program in Florence. McCann, a 2012 graduate of Shrewsbury High School, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. McCann of Shrewsbury. She is majoring in economics at Bates.
