Northborough – Thomas R. Kincaid passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015 at Marlborough Hospital. He was 62.
Born in Springfield, Ohio, he was the son of Richard Kincaid Jr. and Nancy (Otewalt) Kincaid.
He leaves his wife of 35 years, Sandra (Parker) Kincaid; two sons, Gregory Kincaid and Jeff Kincaid, both of Boston, and their respective girlfriend and fiancée, Joanna Matuck and Jacqueline McHugh; his father, Richard Kincaid Jr., and his stepmother, Joyce Kincaid, of Springfield, Ohio; his sister and brother-in-law, Debi and Robert Orr of Ridgefield, Conn.; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ken and Diana Ewing; three nephews, Tom, Doug, and Gary Orr and their wives; and two great-nephews and two great-nieces.
Tom graduated from UNLV in 1972 with a degree in percussion performance. He went on to earn a CAS degree from Harvard Extension School.
The Kincaids have lived in Northborough since 1998 and are formerly of Oxford. Twenty-seven years in the computer industry, he was a 12-year employee of EMC and was working until the time of his death. He was an active member of Second Church of Christ, Scientist, Worcester.
Tom loved composing and performing music. He performed on the Las Vegas Strip with many stars and was Eddy Arnold’s drummer for five years. He met his wife while he was working as a recording engineer at The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston. He was a well-read scholar and calligrapher. His other interests in life included watercolor painting, computer animating, writing, cooking, and baking.

A private memorial service for the family will be held on Saturday.
