Shrewsbury girls’ basketball fall to Wachusett

Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury High School Colonials girls’ basketball team lost a tough game to the third-ranked Wachusett Regional High School Mountaineers by a score of 51-22, Jan. 30 at Shrewsbury.

Tori Vargas was the top scorer for the Colonials with 9 points, and Natalia Mora contributed 5. Hannah Everidge was the top scorer for the Mountaineers with 17 points.

The Colonials fall to 5-8 overall on the season, with a 2-4 record within the Midland A league. The Mountaineers improve to 10-3 overall, with a perfect 6-0 record in Midland A.
