Shrewsbury – Madison Fitzpatrick, granddaughter of Chuck and Joanne Fitzpatrick of Shrewsbury, will be singing at the world-famous Carnegie Hall as part the 2015 High School Honors Performance Series. Madison, a student at Hanover High School, will join other performers for special shows Feb. 19 through Feb. 23.

Madison, 16, is the daughter of Jason and Julie Fitzpatrick.

“She has always been a little songbird,” said her grandmother, Joanne. “She has been musically inclined since she was very young and always loved to play the piano.”

Musicality is not foreign to the Fitzpatrick family. Both of Madison’s parents play the piano and her brother, Cole, plays the trumpet. Her father was a member of the Westborough High School Concert Choir, a 16 voice acappella choir that won a gold medal in Toronto at a High School Music Festival. Even grandmother Joanne was a member of her high school choir!

Watching Madison perform has been a true blessing for Joanne who said that it is fun to watch her granddaughter shine. To say that she is proud is an understatement, she added.

Both Chuck and Joanne are eagerly anticipating Madison’s performance at Carnegie Hall.

“She will be in her element,” Joanne, “and I couldn’t be more thrilled.”
